How to Make 3d Pyramid type Star Logo in “ILLUSTRATOR”

 

1.Take a New file in Illustrator(Ctrl+N)

 

2. Keep the setting same as image

 

3- Take Star from Star tool

Note : Make sure that Smart Guides Should on (Ctrl+U)

5- Take Line tool from tool box

6- Snap the line point from center point of star Note: Press Ctrl+k to open the preference 

window for change the color of smart guide (Turn to black)

 

7- Draw lines as same as image below with help of smart guide.

 

8- Open “Pathfinder” window from Window menu, Select All Lines with Star and 

Apply “Divide” Note: (Divide makes all anchors point separately)

 

9—Select Direct selection tool (A)

10—Open Swatch color Window

 

11- Select Half Triangle of star

 

12—fill the colors of dark and light combination of all half triangles by selecting the 

direct selection tool

 

13- Image Below after filling color.

 

14- Set none color of Stroke

 

15—Take Ellipse for Shadow of Star

 

16—Apply Gaussian Blur (Effect>Blur>Gaussian Blur)

 

17—Set Gaussian blur value

 

18- Final Output
